Jachwak 1930 Census
Jacob (54), Julia (50), Charles (20), Alex (18), Henry (16), Mike (23), Mary, Mike’s wife (20), Steve, Mike’s son (7 months)
Back in 1930, the census was taken at the Jachwak home on April 7. By then, Steve, John, Annie, and Mary had all moved out. Sadly, on June 15th, 1930, Jacob’s wife, Julia, passed away.
This meant the Gilbert house was quite different from what it was in 1920. Mike was now married, and his wife, Mary, along with their son Steven, were living with Jacob.
Also, there’s the census entry for Henry, who was 16. It has to be Andrew, since the 1920 census shows Andrew, age 5, and he’s not listed on this 1930 census.
