Bob Travis - Date of Enlistment October 21, 1952 CO. C - 9th Armored Infantry Battalion - 6th Armored Division - 2nd Platoon ( the insert of Brad Pitt was from the movie Fury. The patch on his shoulder triggered me to look up Dad’s old photo. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together until Erik and I watch the movie. I knew Dad was in the Armored Division, but never realize Dad was right up in the front lines during the Korean War.).

A holiday dinner in the Travis basement. Back table is Harold Robins, Edward Rittinger, the Cook family, and Frank Cynowa. At the front table are Anna (Jackwak) Kosila, Elizabeth Rittinger (Sue's step mom), Sue Travis, Betty Robins, and Sandy Robins.
Observation deck at Smith Terminal at Metro Airport (DTW). My dad liked taking us there to watch the planes take off and arrive. Those days are long gone.
